It Is What It Is, the rapidly growing podcast helmed by platinum-selling recording artists Ma$e and Cam’ron, is partnering with Blue Wire’s podcast network for a sales and production partnership.

It Is What It Is has published 80 episodes to-date, covering the hottest topics in and around sports in four weekly episodes. Guest appearances include Stephen A. Smith, Damian Lillard, Paul Pierce, Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell, Brandon Marshall and Jack Harlow. Regular recurring guests include longtime ESPN NBA broadcaster Mark Jackson and former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett.

Ma$e and Cam’ron record It Is What It Is out of Wynn Las Vegas studios multiple nights each week, with episodes produced by the Blue Wire team and released the following morning.

Multiple episodes have generated over 1 million YouTube views since the show launched in March. The show's YouTube following has swelled to an impressive 476,000-plus subscribers during that short time span.

“Cam’ron and Ma$e have exploded onto the sports podcasting scene with It Is What It Is,” said Blue Wire CEO Kevin Jones. "Their barber shop dialogue and sports commentary is a missing piece in the podcast world. We look forward to contributing as a business partner."

Cam’ron initially recorded with Blue Wire while he was in Las Vegas hosting a concert in September. He and Ma$e were impressed with the production quality of the footage, enough so that the entire It Is What It Is operation relocated to Las Vegas to shoot most episodes from the Wynn Las Vegas studios starting in September. It Is What It Is also features co-host Treasure Wilson, who hosts Check Out The Stat, another podcast filmed weekly with Blue Wire.

Blue Wire operates a state-of-the-art digital studio located inside Wynn Las Vegas, America’s most awarded resort, delivering all-inclusive video & audio production services for hundreds of content creators and publishers. Chart-topping shows including All The Smoke with Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, and The Stephen A. Smith Show recorded episodes in Blue Wire Studios in 2023. Additionally, podcasters from around the country have made trips to Las Vegas to record in the studio, including as part of heat moments like NBA Summer League.

"Partnering with the It Is What It Is team has been an excellent experience for the Blue Wire Las Vegas studio team,” said Jeremiah Crowe, Blue Wire’s Director of Operations. “There's no question Cam, Ma$e & Treasure's dedication to producing compelling and unique content has the sports media industry on notice. The Blue Wire podcast network prides itself on enabling creators to push the envelope, while serving sports fans wherever there's demand. Having this groundbreaking show originate from our state-of-the-art Vegas studio is a perfect match."

Founded in 2018 by Kevin Jones, Blue Wire was built around the concept that independent podcasts would be more successful as a network. Today, Blue Wire is a top 20 global podcast company, as measured by monthly unique audio downloads and number of contributing shows. Blue Wire’s network of more than 200 podcasts reaches 18M+ audio downloads and YouTube views each month, with shows covering national topics like NFL, NBA, and more, plus coverage specific to local sports teams.

Blue Wire has raised $12M in venture funding and recently reached profitability. Blue Wire worked with more than 100 advertisers in 2023.
