What’s up guys, CEO Kevin Jones here. We are in unprecedented times and I first and foremost hope everyone is staying safe. This pandemic has been a shock to the system and extends far beyond the games that we all love. However long this all lasts, we are committed to bringing you your favorite pods.

In our 18 months as a company, we’ve built a community of podcasters who all work and record remotely. So other than the whole “all sports aren’t being played right now” thing, we’re fully operational.

After recently raising some capital, we now have five full-timers and an incredible group of part-timers who are making humungous contributions to deliver you pods. And our podcasters are some of the most creative people I’ve ever had the chance to work with. Along side them, we are going to continue to add new content every week.

As we continue to build our network with more traditional talk-shows, you’ll see a stronger push from us into a new direction: the narrative podcast space. Our feeling is that the sports audio documentary category is vastly underdeveloped, and we’re using resources to fill this need in the marketplace. We’ve been building out this studio concept before the pandemic and are now prioritizing efforts to deliver evergreen, binge-able content to our fans.

I wanted to highlight twelve of our newcomers that cover the NHL, NFL, NBA, PGA Tour and wrestling.

Dropping The Gloves, an NHL podcast hosted by former all-star and ten-year veteran John Scott and Tim Wirzburger, is the latest example of our dedication to build audio channels with former college and professional athletes. John and Tim bring a huge audience and ton of hockey expertise to the network with this podcast that takes a look at the NHL from every angle. John joins a growing list of former athletes including Donte Whitner, Tajh Boyd, James Jones, Joshua Perry and Eric Crocker on Blue Wire.

The Bronx Pinstripes Crew is adding a third podcast for Yankees (and MLB) fans with The Boys of 161 Street! Welcome Luke Rella and Damin Romeo! These guys (and a collection of their buddies) make up The Boys of 161 St, offering a younger slant to Yanks coverage. Luke and Damin started podcasting late last year and have already built a strong social media following as they spit hot takes from their apartment on the upper east side of Manhattan. Very excited to see these guys grow with the Blue Wire team and their expanded presence on Bronx Pinstripes.

A rising star in the Cleveland Browns media landscape, Jake Burns, is adding a second show to his audio content. The Orange and Brown Report will record multiple times a week, pairing snackable podcast content to Jake’s written coverage of the Cleveland Browns for 247 Sports. Jake was one of the first people to ever believe in me as a startup founder and I’m pumped Blue Wire can help aid his growth.

Our NBA coverage has been our fastest growing channel and we’ve added three team-specific podcasts that fit what we build at Blue Wire. Nicole Yang and Tom Westerholm bring their experience covering the Celtics for The Boston Globe and MassLive respectively to Blue Wire with their new podcast Gino Time. We’ve had some great success building with other writers at the Sacramento Bee and Philly Voice Magazine. Clip & Roll and Kings Pulse both provide detailed, game-by-game analysis all season long.

Fore! We’re now officially in the PGA Tour content game with Fantasy Golf Degenerates. The lively duo of Tyler Tamboline and Kenny Kim bring a highly engaged audience with them to the network and give you topnotch fantasy advice and DFS golf coverage every week — with a little extra flare.

Which media outlet has the highest amount of social impressions covering the 49ers? Hard to argue it’s not Blue Wire. The 49ers Rush Podcast (John Chapman), 4th & Gold Podcast (Matt Barr, Javi Vega) will bolster Blue Wire’s unprecedented coverage of the reigning NFC champs. 49ers Rush uses a film-based approach to cover Kyle Shanahan and the team while 4th & Gold wears the super-fan hat. These podcasts join Striking Gold and Candlestick Chronicles giving Blue Wire the broadest audio coverage of the 49ers in the market.

The 10ish Podcast, hosted by Nick Emel and Brandon Coffman, expands Blue Wire’s audience to the comedy side as well. The duo brings listeners a weekly Top-10 list from a variety of topic, along with trivia, fun facts and conspiracy theories. From the best films, to their favorite Halloween candy, to even their most famous Chinese songs, Brandon and Nick have a list for everything.

Top Rope Nation (Ryan Droste, Kyle Ross, Justin Joynt)  will add to Blue Wire’s wrestling coverage with its weekly show on the WWE, AEW and WWE NXT. It ups our wrestling content to three pods, joining The Chris Van Vliet Show and Two Jabronis with a Wrestling Podcast.

We know people’s lives are going to change. But throughout it, we’re going to keep working to give more people opportunities to create, produce and listen to content.
