I love this podcast on so many levels. From their self-deprecating humor to the vivid boyhood memories to the revelation of what might be connected-Mac and Sam are so easy to listen to. More importantly, I told my husband and son about “The Rumor” to see if they had heard of it. As lifelong Cardinal and MLB fans-both were surprised they didn’t know about it-but both asked me to send it to them! I’ve listened to and talked about 100’s of podcasts and no-one has ever asked me to share it! This one hits it outta the ballpark!

I’m really more of a true crime enthusiast, but I’m loving The Rumour so far. The hosts are funny and easy to listen to and the story is engaging, even for someone outside the fandom of baseball.
