Elliot Smith of Blue Wire’s ArsenalVision podcast is once again fundraising for the Arsenal Foundation's Arsenal-In-The-Community initiative, with more than £150,000 (and counting) pledged this year to help the 80,000 inhabitants of the Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan.

Facing unimaginable challenges like gender-based violence, child labor, and child marriage, the children of Za'atari work with the Arsenal Foundation and Save The Children’s Coaching For Life program to develop essential skills with a focus in sustainable resiliency to help them forge a better future.

ArsenalVision released a two-part series from inside the Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan, where you can not only hear their experience but hear from the refugees themselves and exactly what Arsenal and the Coaching For Life program means to them, along with those who make the program happen in the first place.

"The donations to this fundraiser will make a meaningful difference," Elliot told us. "What we raise can be the difference between the program shrinking, sustaining, or even expanding to reach more children in need within the Camp. And when you talk to these children, and their parents, the one thing they all emphasize, is that they need this program to carry on."

ArsenalVision, which recently agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension with Blue Wire, has made charitable initiatives supporting the Arsenal Foundation an annual practice. These efforts not only help thousands around the world, but showcases that a united community can bring about meaningful change in a real way.
