Position Overview:

Blue Wire is looking for a dedicated and hungry Director of Partnerships to help lead end-to-end management of the company’s brand partnerships division. This dual-facing role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and involve deep collaboration with both premier athlete talent and brand partners alike. The ideal candidate will be an organized, effective communicator with the ability to thrive in multiple sales environments and manage all facets of the sales cycle from creative development to proposal buildout to campaign execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with premier athlete talent and associated production / management teams including sponsorship development, deal vetting, campaign execution, reporting, status calls, and more
  • Leverage knowledge of content roadmaps, talent insights, and the sports calendar to build proactive and reactive multichannel sponsorship opportunities for potential brand partners
  • Collaborate with sellers to develop account specific strategies and create consultative sales proposals that represent our best-in-class content and marketing solutions
  • Support high-profile talent recruitment including building projections, architecting communication workflows, and spearheading the onboarding process
  • Lead talent-led campaign executions from creative development through to wrap reporting
  • Aid in prospecting and outreach strategy for bringing new advertisers to Blue Wire
  • Build and execute ad hoc brand marketing executions for Blue Wire including but not limited to promotional campaigns, business conference activations, social media posts, and more.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years talent management and/or sales marketing experience
  • Proven success in maintaining effective and meaningful client and/or vendor relationships (experience with athletes preferred)
  • Skilled pitch builder who can marry content and talent insights with brand / RFP goals and present ideas visually  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation design (PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of media math  
  • Organized, strategic thinker who’s able to take concepts to reality and works effectively with others
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to thrive in an unstructured environment
  • Sports enthusiast and up to date on leagues, teams, and major storylines
  • Understanding of the digital landscape including Audio, Podcasts, Social, Video, Branded Content, Data/Targeting, Ad Measurement, and more
