Blue Wire is an audio-centric sports media brand reaching millions of listeners through 200+ podcasts with influencers, journalists, athletes, pro teams and fans. Founded in August 2018, the company has grown from a cluster of regional podcasts to one of the largest sports audio providers on the internet. With continued growth across digital platforms, we are recruiting for the Manager, Partnerships.

Position Overview:

Blue Wire seeks a Manager of Partnerships to direct and organize efforts across Blue Wire’s third-party initiatives. This person will support the Vice President of Partnerships in the prospecting, management, and growth of Blue Wire’s external clients across branded content, production deals, and owned-and-operated IP. This role will interface across Blue Wire’s marketing, sales, distribution, and production teams as well as be a vocal counterpart in the management of our clients. This person will also help organize our company’s guest booking efforts in the management of contract guest bookers.

This person should be a willing leader who is excited to represent Blue Wire in the marketplace and organize our efforts behind the scenes.

This is a hybrid role and can be based in Los Angeles or New York.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Vice President of Partnerships in the project management of third-party partnerships (branded content, production deals, etc.)
  • Organize the smooth execution of client partnerships and be a willing participant in communications, strategy, and problem solving
  • Lead the KPI and contract obligation tracking per partnership
  • Help research, build, and update presentation materials in support of the partnerships and business development teams
  • Manage contract guest bookers and organize all guest efforts for Blue Wire owned-IP and partnerships  
  • Build database of contract guest bookers and guests with deft attention to contact details and historic appearances
  • Develop a strong reputation amongst agencies, teams, and media outlets
  • Keep senior leadership apprised of trends in the marketplace and where to be opportunistic
  • Be a willing lead on outreach for PR opportunities, Blue Wire talent placement, and other external promotional opportunities
  • Support the Talent + Partnership Department on ad hoc projects
