Founded in August 2018, the company has grown from a cluster of regional podcasts to one of the largest sports audio providers on the internet. Our current work spans audio and video production and provides for full-service marketing, monetization, and distribution services for our owned IP. In September of 2021 Blue Wire opened a state-of-the-art content studio on the floor of Wynn Las Vegas, which is a strategic partner of the company.

Position Overview: 

The Human Resources Generalist role will provide solutions and deliver on key HR programs and initiatives ensuring processes and services are delivered with excellence. Communication and collaboration will be key to create positive and engaging employee experiences. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thought partner, provide consult and is self-starter with an ambition for success.

This is a hybrid role is based in Los Angeles

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Compliance: Ensure confidentiality and integrity across all applicable channels of communication and documentation as well as address and maintain HR compliance in adherence to applicable employment and government laws, policies, procedures, and programs; maintain up to date knowledge of HR trends and best practices
  • HR Administration & Employee Life Cycle: Manage and provide strategic consult, support services as a part of the employee lifecycle, including on and off-boarding, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, workers compensation and provide accurate guidance on employee inquiries resulting in positive engagement
  • Employee Relations: Partner to develop organizational guidelines, procedures and improvements, conduct investigations, resolve workplace issues and provide guidance for best outcomes
  • Talent Acquisition: Run full cycle recruitment process identifying creative solutions to acquire best talent, drive talent mapping and processes, measure ROI of recruitment activities and provide educational consult
  • Performance Management: Partner with HR leadership on strategic initiatives to implement and execute desired outcomes of core metrics, innovation and people development alignment with organizational goals
  • Training and Development: Partner on design and facilitation of applicable trainings and opportunities of people and process development
  • Culture Ambassador: Partner closely with HR leadership in areas not limited to wellness programs, diversity, equity, inclusion, team building and other key initiatives
  • Report & Data Management: Provide data analytics to conduct audits, identify gaps, redundancies, potential contradictions and translate for reporting to address trends, recognize opportunities and best practices
  • Project Management: Manage and execute projects and additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred and 5+ years of HR experience OR additional experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance and HRIS systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, execute on multiple projects with limited supervision and exercise discretion regarding confidential matters
  • Demonstrated experience leading/strong partnership in organizational change and realignment
  • Experience supporting more than one business function; sales, media and technology are a plus
  • Prior experience with data analytics, metrics and automated reporting
  • Proven project management, implementation and analytical skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
