Blue Wire is an audio-centric sports media brand reaching millions of listeners through 200+ podcasts with influencers, journalists, athletes, pro teams and fans. Founded in August 2018, the company has grown from a cluster of regional podcasts to one of the largest sports audio providers on the internet. With continued growth across digital platforms, we are recruiting for the Manager, Partnerships.

Position Overview:

Blue Wire seeks a part-time Executive Coordinator to support the CEO and COO. The position’s work will be a mixture of traditional executive assistant duties as well as growth-minded strategy work alongside our senior management team.

Responsibilities will touch on a wide range of Blue Wire teams including revenue, content, human resources, investor relations, and more. The ideal Executive Coordinator will be highly organized and anticipatory to ensure the executive team can be both strategic and opportunistic for growth. The role will interface with Blue Wire employees, content creators, athletes, external dealmakers, investors and more.  

This is a hybrid role and can be based in Los Angeles, New York, or remotely.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Attend meetings alongside the CEO, keeping organized notes and identifying action steps to help the company move with speed
  • Lead the timely preparation and presentation of materials (e.g., PowerPoint deck) for key external and internal meetings involving the CEO and COO
  • Draft key documents in collaboration with the CEO, including internal communications and external pitch materials
  • Collaborate internally with Blue Wire departments to help key projects move forward  
  • Organize and schedule calendars for CEO, COO, and Head of Content
  • Learn Blue Wire’s business quickly and proactively provide solutions for day-to-day problem solving
  • Own ad hoc projects from beginning to completion (for example, PR)

Qualifications & Skills:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years work experience, preferably as an executive assistant or related role. Content marketing, sports, or entertainment experience a nice-to-have.
  • Excellent organizational skills using Microsoft Teams and other work management platforms; flexible and thrives in a multi-task setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write reports and business correspondence; Outstanding grammar and proofreading skills
  • A willing and vocal leader when appropriate and advantageous to the company
  • Ability to quickly build important presentation materials in PowerPoint and respond to edits  
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Able to handle stressful situations with measured calmness and decisiveness.
  • Guided by exceptional common sense, maturity, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
  • Rate: $15-20 per hour depending on work experience
